A man is in a critical condition after being shot in the face yesterday evening in Dagenham. The incident happened on Maplestead Road just after 6:25 pm and police are still on scene.
A spokesperson for the Met told the London news section of the Havering Daily:
“Police were called shortly after 18:25hrs on Thursday, 29 April to reports of a man with gunshot injuries on Maplestead Road in Dagenham.
“Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service and found a man in his 20’s with a gunshot injury to his face. His condition is being treated as life-threatening.
“Detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command (Trident) are investigating and enquiries continue. At this early stage, there have been no arrests.”
