The Plough in Upminster wants to stay open until 1.30am twice a week

The Craft Union Pub Company Limited has applied for a licence to extend the opening hours of The Plough, located in Front Lane, Cranham.

The proposal is to stay open until 1.30am on Fridays and Saturdays.

They also want to serve alcohol and play recorded music until 1am on the same days.

At the moment, The Plough opens at 10am every day, closing at 11pm from Monday to Saturday, and at 10pm on Sundays.

Havering Council is handling the application and will accept written representations addressed to Licensing Authority, Licensing Team Housing & Public Protection London Borough of Havering, Town Hall, Main Road, Romford, RM1 3BD, concerning the request until July 3.

The council’s register and the application record can be reviewed at the town hall during usual business hours.

It is a criminal offence to knowingly make a false statement in connection with an application.
